Fan Shufeng, a native of Shandong Province, is the 9th-generation representative inheritor of Chinese intangible cultural heritage Dragon-Phoenix Flower-Bird Calligraphy (Dragon-Phoenix Feibai Calligraphy). He is currently a member of China Folk Literature and Art Association, Beijing Toy Association and Beijing Chinese Entrepreneurs Intangible Cultural Heritage Promotion Association. He has been obsessed with painting and calligraphy since childhood and has devoted decades to folk painting and calligraphy. He studied under Mr. Han Shuliang, the 8th-generation inheritor of this craft. Endowed with outstanding artistic talent and persistent diligent practice, he has fully mastered all ancient traditional techniques. He formed a unique artistic feature of paintings hidden in characters, characters blended in paintings, auspicious dragon and phoenix patterns and vivid varied scenes, and has become a core representative for inheritance, innovation and international promotion of this folk craft.
范书锋，山东人，中国非物质文化遗产龙凤花鸟字（龙凤飞白书）第九代代表性传承人，现为中国民间文艺家协会会员、北京玩具协会会员、北京华商非物质文化遗产促进会会员。自幼酷爱书画艺术，深耕民间书画领域数十年，师承第八代龙凤飞白书非遗传承人韩树梁先生。凭借极高的艺术天赋与常年勤学苦修，他熟练掌握龙凤字全套古法技艺，练就 “字中有画、画中有字、龙凤呈祥、万象生姿” 的独特艺术风格，是当代龙凤字技艺传承、创新与国际传播的核心代表人物。
Evolved from traditional Feibai calligraphy, Dragon-Phoenix Flower-Bird Calligraphy is a unique Chinese folk intangible cultural heritage integrating calligraphy and painting. It combines the standard grace of calligraphy and the aesthetic conception of traditional painting. Different from ordinary creation, it adopts special flat brushes and classic color matching techniques. Its strokes are flexible and layered, transforming Chinese characters naturally into auspicious patterns such as dragon lines, phoenix feathers, blooming flowers, lucky herbs and auspicious clouds. Finished in one go without drafts, the works perfectly combine characters and paintings. Viewed from afar, they are elegant standard Chinese calligraphy; viewed closely, they present delicate vivid flowers, birds and sacred beasts. Carrying thousands of years of Chinese character aesthetics and traditional auspicious culture, this distinctive craft is a typical treasure of Chinese folk arts.
龙凤花鸟字脱胎于传统飞白书，是中国独有的书画共生民间非遗技艺，兼具书法的法度风骨与传统绘画的审美意境。不同于常规书画创作，龙凤字以特制板笔、传统配色技法为核心工艺，落笔灵动多变、层次通透饱满，能够将汉字字形自然衍化为龙纹、凤羽、繁花、瑞草、祥云等吉祥意象。整幅作品无需底稿、一气呵成，字画相融、虚实相生，远观为规整典雅的汉字书法，近赏是细腻鲜活的花鸟瑞兽图景。技艺本身承载着千年汉字美学与中式吉祥文化，工艺独特、辨识度极高，是中华民间艺术中极具代表性的特色技艺。
For decades, Fan Shufeng has adhered to his original aspiration of inheriting intangible cultural heritage, dedicated himself to skill polishing and cultural dissemination, and taken part in numerous large-scale cultural exhibitions and heritage exchange events at home and abroad. In 1996, he was invited to perform at the Health Festival Art Show of Grand Epoch City. In 2010, he officially joined Beijing Chinese Entrepreneurs Intangible Cultural Heritage Promotion Association to promote heritage inheritance. In 2013, he appeared on the Spring Festival Temple Fair Gala of CCTV Channel 11, demonstrating this craft live and showing the charm of traditional folk art to audiences nationwide.
数十年以来，范书锋始终坚守非遗初心，深耕技艺打磨与文化传播，常年参与国内外大型文化展演与非遗交流活动，履历丰厚、成果斐然。1996 年，他受邀参与天下第一城健康节艺术展演；2010 年正式加入北京华商非物质文化遗产促进会，深耕非遗传承推广工作；2013 年荣登央视十一频道春节庙会晚会，现场展演龙凤字非遗技艺，向全国观众展现传统民间艺术的独特魅力。
In international cultural exchanges, he travels widely at home and abroad, taking Dragon-Phoenix Calligraphy as a cultural medium to build bridges for cultural mutual learning. In 2015, he went to Bangkok, Thailand for cultural exchanges on behalf of Beijing Baigongfang. In 2016, he attended international cultural fairs in Taipei and Laos. In 2017, he held art exhibitions and cultural exchanges in Taipei, Iran and Moscow, winning many art awards and official certificates. In 2018, he was invited to large-scale cultural exchange activities in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. Meanwhile, he regularly participates in top domestic heritage events such as Beijing Ditan Temple Fair, popularizing this ancient craft among the public and across the globe.
在国际文化交流领域，范书锋常年奔走于海内外，以龙凤字为文化载体，搭建中外文明互鉴的桥梁。2015 年，他代表北京东城区百工坊赴泰国曼谷开展文化交流展演；2016 年随北京东方妙汇文化团队赴中国台北、老挝塔銮节参与国际文化庙会交流；2017 年先后赴中国台北、伊朗、莫斯科开展艺术展演与文化交流，斩获多项艺术奖杯与官方认证证书；2018 年受邀参与中国台湾高雄大型文化交流活动。同时，他常年参与北京地坛庙会等国内顶级非遗展演活动，以常态化的展演、展示、传播，让古老的龙凤字技艺走进大众、走向世界。
